Professional Visit Pass and Practical Training Pass |
| Professional Visit Pass and Practical Training Pass are permits issued to individuals who join companies as trainers, trainee, commissioning or installation staff. These passes are issued for a maximum period of up to 12 months. The candidate is not allowed to be paid a salary by the local company for this pass. |
Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) |
| Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme is promoted by the Government of Malaysia to allow foreigners who fulfill certain criteria, to stay in Malaysia for as long as possible on a multiple-entry social visit pass. The Social Visit Pass is initially for a period of ten (10) years, and is renewable |
Spouse Program |
| The Spouse Program was created for foreigners that are married to Malaysians. The Social Visit Pass is renewable as long as the marriage continues. The marriage has to be registered by the Malaysian authorities. |
Representative Office / Regional Office Set Up |
| Representative / Regional Office set up is solely for corporations overseas that require an office in Malaysia for sourcing purposes. Business transactions are not allowed for Representative / Regional Offices. Company set up is not required. |
Residence Pass |
| The Residence Pass – Talent (RP-T) was introduced in April 2011 by the Malaysian Government. It aims to attract and retain top talent in the country with a range of benefits. Any foreign talent that has been living and working in Malaysia for a minimum of 3 years on a continuous basis is eligible to apply for the RP-T. The RP-T is not tied to an employer and is valid for 10 years. Dependants of the RP-T holder are also eligible to work. |
